Your price is fixed and shown before you confirm — and you only pay once the work is done.
At the busiest times and overnight, the speed fee can be higher. You always see it before you confirm.
Express and Priority carry a defined arrival commitment, not an unconditional guarantee. It applies to bookings inside a live Fixara zone, in a covered category and during the covered hours shown at checkout. Where those conditions are met and we miss the promised arrival window, the speed fee for that booking is waived — Fixara charges no call-out fee, so the speed fee is the only charge for the arrival itself.
Radius Passport
You see who's coming before they knock.
Every Fixara professional is screened end to end before they take a single job — identity, legal right to work, VOG, background, credentials, and both hard and soft skills.
The screening is run by Radius Hire. The full passport appears in your booking the moment a job is accepted: name, photo, trade, checks passed.

Why we built this
Fix now, build tomorrow.
Fixara's professionals are screened and brought into work by Radius Hire — including newcomers and students with real trade skills and no route into the Dutch market. Every job is income, a verified track record, and a foothold.
The ecosystem
Six modules. One operating system for the home.
Services is what launches in January 2027. The other five are the roadmap it is built to carry, and we label them as such rather than selling them as available.
Fixara Services — we fix it
The core on-demand service marketplace and managed service operation: repairs, installations and maintenance, booked at a fixed price with a screened professional at the door.
Fixara Loops — we move it
On-demand urban logistics and the delivery infrastructure for the whole ecosystem — pickup, handover and return flows for Services, Share and Marketplace. Integrated premium logistics, not a generic courier app.
Fixara Share — we rent it
The asset-sharing layer. People and businesses unlock value from underused tools, equipment, mobility, storage, parking and other eligible assets, with Fixara providing trust, payments and optional Loops logistics.
Fixara Marketplace
A curated commerce layer for the products, parts, materials and service-related purchases that sit around a job.
Reality AI
Photo and video diagnosis, issue recognition, triage and estimate support — the chain that runs from what you photograph to a materials prediction, a better first-time fix, and a model that learns from every completed job.
Fixara Assist & Insight
The AI assistance and intelligence layer for customers, professionals and operations: support resolution, recommendations, quality signals and predictive insight on what a home will need next.
Fixara has completed no jobs. Every module above other than Services and Reality AI at intake is stated as roadmap, without a date.
API & MCP
Diagnose and price a job from inside your own assistant.
Fixara connects to AI assistants through MCP. Ask about a problem, describe it, get a real price — without opening a website. Today the connector can diagnose and fetch quotes; it cannot book and it cannot touch payments.
What the connector can do today
- Read a photo of the problem and diagnose the trade needed
- Return a real fixed price, including VAT
- Check whether we cover the address and when
What it cannot
- Book the job — confirmation stays with you
- Touch payments or payment details
- Reach your Fixara account or job history
The intelligence layer
Photo diagnosis and pricing run on Anthropic’s Claude models. MCP is the open standard those assistants use to reach Fixara — so the connector works with any assistant that speaks it, not one vendor’s app.
For professionals
Do the work. We'll handle the rest.
1,000 professionals have registered on the platform; screening is under way. Jobs arrive priced, scheduled and paid through the app — no bidding against six other people for the same tap, no chasing invoices.
- Jobs matched to your skills
- Price agreed upfront
- Work when you want to
Fixara runs in your browser at app.fixara.eu — there's nothing to install.
Questions
The things people ask before they book.
How does Fixara work?
You start by describing the problem in whatever way is easiest at that moment. Most people take a photo — a dripping tap, a dead socket, a box of flat-pack parts on the floor. You can also record a voice note in Dutch or English, or type a single line. You do not have to know whether the job needs a plumber, an electrician or a handyman. Working that out is our job, not yours.
Our AI reads what you sent, identifies the trade, works out the scope of the job and returns a fixed upfront price. You then pick a speed: Standard for the same day, Express for a typical arrival within 90 minutes, or Priority for emergencies. The job price and the speed fee are shown separately, both including 21% VAT, and there is no call-out fee.
Once you confirm, the job is offered to screened professionals nearby. The first to accept it is yours. Before they arrive you see their Radius Passport — name, photo, trade and the checks they passed — so you know exactly who is about to knock on your door. You can follow the arrival in the app.
The professional does the work. When the job is marked complete, Fixara invoices you, handles the VAT and settles the professional. You pay after the work is finished, through the platform. No deposit, no cash at the door, no Tikkie.
What does it cost?
There are two numbers, and you see both before you confirm anything.
The first is the job price. It depends on the work, and you see it before you confirm — a fixed price, not an estimate that moves. Where a job cannot be priced sight-unseen, the app says "priced by photo" and gives you the number once the AI has read the image. Larger work such as a bathroom renovation is quoted per hour, and we say which is which rather than dressing an hourly job up as a fixed one. Every price shown on this site includes 21% VAT, which matters because most of this market quotes ex-VAT and the difference lands on your bill.
The second is the speed fee: €49 Standard, €79 Express, €99 Priority. That is what you pay for how quickly someone is at your door, and it is charged once per job, not per hour. At the busiest times and overnight the speed fee can be higher. You always see the figure before you confirm.
There is no call-out fee, no minimum charge for turning up, no subscription and no hourly meter running while somebody works out what is wrong. If the job turns out to need materials that were not in the original scope, they are invoiced separately and itemised, not folded silently into a larger number.
Who are the professionals?
They are plumbers, electricians, handymen, cleaners, gardeners and the rest of the network, screened end to end by Radius Hire before they are allowed to take a single Fixara job.
How each one is engaged depends on the facts of the work, under a four-track model we apply consistently. Genuinely independent professionals with their own clients, pricing and tools work under a contract for services. Light-service workers are employed through Genuine Group under the applicable NBBU framework. Partner service companies work with us as businesses, under a B2B subcontracting agreement. Skilled trades who are materially dependent on Fixara volume are employed through Genuine Group. Fixara does not keep anyone in a self-employed structure where the facts point to dependency — that is a deliberate operating rule, not a technicality.
The screening covers six things: identity, legal right to work in the Netherlands, a VOG (the Dutch certificate of conduct), a background check, credentials and licences for their trade, and an assessment of both hard and soft skills. Those are checked against documents, not self-declared on a signup form.
The result is a Radius Passport. It is not a badge on a profile page you have to go looking for: it is shown to you inside the booking, before the professional arrives. You see their name, their photo, their trade and which checks they passed.
We publish what was checked, and when. The person is coming into your home, so you should not have to take the word "screened" on trust — and a professional who has been through the process has something worth showing.
The job is contracted through Fixara rather than privately, so the complaint route sits with us.
How fast is 90 minutes, really?
Ninety minutes is a service commitment with stated conditions. It is not an unconditional guarantee, and we will not dress it up as one.
The conditions are these. The booking has to be an eligible Express booking, placed at an address inside a live Fixara zone, in a category we cover in that zone, during the hours shown at checkout. All four are stated on the booking screen before you confirm, not buried in terms afterwards.
Where those conditions are met and we miss the promised arrival window, the remedy is simple: we waive the speed fee for that booking. Fixara charges no call-out fee, so the speed fee is the only charge for the arrival itself.
What we hold ourselves to is measured, not self-reported: arrival is evidenced by timestamped job states and geofence verification, and the north-star number we run the company on is completed jobs per week that met the promised arrival window.
You see the promised arrival window before you confirm. Once a professional accepts the job you see their name and their real arrival time, and you can follow it in the app. If it slips, you see it slip — the alternative, which this industry has used for decades, is a phone call promising "somewhere between eight and six" and no way to check.
Priority bookings are aimed at emergencies and carry a 30-minute commitment on the same conditions. Standard is same-day at a time that suits you, which for a job that is not urgent is usually the better choice and the cheaper one.
How do I pay, and when?
Through the platform, after the work is done. Fixara is the merchant of record, which is a dry way of saying something that matters: your contract is with Fixara, not with an individual who happened to turn up. We invoice you, we handle the 21% VAT, and we settle the professional afterwards.
That means there is no deposit to transfer to a stranger, no cash at the door, no Tikkie, and no separate invoice arriving weeks later from a company you have never heard of. Your invoice comes from Fixara, by email, with the VAT shown.
If extra materials are needed that were not part of the original scope, they are invoiced separately and itemised, so you can see exactly what was added and why.
Paying through the platform is also what makes the complaint route work. Because the money and the contract sit with Fixara, a dispute is ours to resolve rather than yours to chase.
What if something goes wrong?
Every Fixara professional is verified through Radius Passport before they take a job, and every booking is contracted through Fixara rather than privately between you and an individual.
Practically, that changes who you talk to when something is not right. You contact Fixara. We hold the customer relationship, the payment and the record of the job — including the timestamps and the before-and-after photos the professional captures on site — so we can see what happened rather than take one person's word against another's.
If the work is not right, we deal with the professional. You are not left arguing about an invoice you have already paid, and you are not chasing a one-person business that has stopped answering the phone.
We are deliberately not printing a warranty length or a money-back promise here. Those are contractual commitments, and we will publish them when they are signed off in writing rather than invent a number that sounds reassuring on a website. What we will state plainly today: the professionals are screened and verified through Radius Passport, the job is booked and paid through Fixara, and complaints go through us. Liability cover is being placed before the first job and we will publish the terms when it is bound.
